rue ThouinThe angle of the builiding made with the rue Thouin, n° 16 is characteristic. It shows where the wall went abruptly southward. The building is on a remnant of the wall, visible behing the gate.

rue ThouinGoing south to the 4 rue Thouin a small door leads to a leafy garden.

According to Arthur Gillette (a specialist of the wall)it would be the rampart. It does look like it, but is is hard to explain why it would be so far from its layout
