tour de Philippe AugusteOn the left when entering a tower of the rampart is rather roughly restored. You can go inside and visualise that the part against the wall is flat, thus confirming that the map on the facade is wrong.

Model representing the implantation of the tower and the hotel de Bourgogne. This picture was taken thtough a glass pane with annoying reflections. Here too we noticed a historical mistake : the western of the wall, beyond the circular tower made an angle, which has not been reproduced here

This arch of stones is one of the undergournd parts of the Hotel de Bourgogne built at the beginning of the XVth century. Behind the wall is visible ( picture on the right : with the co-author of the web site)
