Behind this door, now the home of Éditions du Seuil, there was once sawmill. In the courtyard and in the main building there are remnants of the wall.
Behind this door is one of the towers of Philippe-Auguste's wall..
Through the door, beyond the passageway that passes through the office adajacent to the road, we arrive at an internal courtyard equiped as a garage at the back of which is a party wall with 27 rue Guénégaud; this is Philippe-Auguste's wall (shown here opposite the blue van).
And now the wall forms a integral part an office in the courtyard of Éditions du Seuil..
Philippe-Auguste's wall, at the far end of the office, in the courtyard of Éditions du Seuil, rue Guénégaud.
Re-entering the main building at the back of the courtyard we can see an intact tower and a section of the wall, clearly visible in this photograph, extending to the North and into the office and into the courtyard.
